Assignments

I will be adding all of the documents and assignments from this page to the blog!

The assessment I will be doing will be based off of this rubric.  I will be emailing students regularly with feedback and comments for each of their assignments. If students have any issues with missing any assignments they need to let me know for whatever reason.

The descriptors in the scale below are based on the following expectations.

Students are able to:

  • Try to compete the assignment to the best of their ability

  • Problem solve and seek information from variable/multiple resources

  • Make connections within the assignments- taking the information learned and applying it to the question(s)

  • Make connections with their environment and community

  • Articulate and explain their thoughts and interpretation of the subject

  • Seek out and ask questions for better understanding and to expand learning if needed

Self-Directed Learning Plan A Self-Directed Learning Plan is an option for those self-motivated students who have a passion or a direction they want to take to best serve their learning at this time of the year.  This option is NOT suitable for everyone but can be a great opportunity to try somethings new or to expand on something you are interested in!

Home Improvement This assignment we will be building off of each over the next couple of weeks combining learning from our subject areas as well as other disciplines from around the school to things that are available at your house, since that's where we are mostly at the moment.
